WHY IT ALL BEGAN
My name is Trisha Hill and I am the owner and chandler of Apis Seven Chandlery. I began making all-natural beeswax candles in 2017 when I decided to start living a healthier lifestyle. My first year of healthy consisted of learning to make my own yogurt, cottage cheese, apple cider vinegar, ghee, goat milk soap, and CANDLES!

In 2017 I was on a path to live the healthiest lifestyle possible for myself and for my family. Along the way of discovering what healthy meant, I learned how toxic some candles can be for our health and for our environment. After extensive research, I found beeswax is one of the most natural and non-toxic waxes available to make candles. One day, after purchasing pure
beeswax, organic coconut oil, and chemical free cotton wicks, I went to work on creating my first beeswax candle! It took quite a few tries to get the candle making process right, but eventually it happened!
The first few years of making beeswax candles I shared them with my friends and family non-stop!!!! This prompted my husband to ask me, "Why don't you start a beeswax candle company"? My initial answer was "NO WAY". I loved making the candles and giving them to people. It became my therapeutic hobby. My husband continued pushing me towards starting a candle company and finally convinced me how incredible it would be to share these candles with more than family and friends.
Situated on a 100 acre farm, overlooking beautiful fields and woods, is my chandlery. You can find me here most days making goat milk soap, all natural products and beeswax candles...PERFECTLY IMPERFECT!
